Why MoldSTAT Active Ingredient beats bleach?

Q: Why does MoldSTAT plus work better than bleach?

After years of flood clean up using bleach, this past year we stopped switched to Mold STAT plus to reduce the fabric and carpet damage.
We know the Active Ingredient in bleach is chlorine and it causes colors to be ‘bleached’ (isn’t that why it is called bleach?). Why do MoldSTAT ingredients still kill mold, germs and bacteria, but not damage colors?

A: MoldSTAT plus contains no chlorine ingredients

MoldSTAT Plus Mold Killer was designed intentionally to be used on nearly any surface: Carpets, curtains, couches and even clothing. To effectively kill mold, mildew and other organisms without wiping out the color required active ingredients without any chlorine or bleaching agents. By designing a mold remover that won’t damage colors, mold stat has become a vrsatile cleaner that can be brought in by flood response teams for rapid mold remediation without the need to first sort out at risk items.
Ultimately the flexibility and color safe use of moldstat reduces the amount of time needed to treat a flooded area, leading to a reduction in mold growth.

Like many chemical solutions, older brute force methods (like bleach) are not the only way to get to the same result. Luckily the chemists who created moldstat found a design that protected colors while still killing mold and germs.
